IT’S OUR BIGGEST GHIBLI FEST EVER!
Bust out that chalk and join us for Buffalo’s Annual Studio Ghibli Chalk Contest, now celebrating its ELEVENTH continuous year as one of the coolest expressions of Ghibli love on the planet.
This year, in addition to the chalk fest 7/20-21, we’ll be screening an ENTIRE WEEK’s worth of Ghibli favorites. For tickets to our film lineup, click HERE.
CHALK CONTEST ENTRY IS FREE!
All skill levels are encouraged!
Some chalking supplies will be provided!

FREE water for chalkers!
General prize packages TBA (they will be cool!) and will be sponsored by GKIDS Films—the American distributor of Studio Ghibli—and Gutter Pop Comics across the street.
As in previous years, the festival spans TWO days: July 20 – July 21st. Except in extenuating circumstances, artists will be judged according to one day’s worth of work.
Chalking starts at 9:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. (But you can start any time after.)
Final judging starts at 9 PM Sunday.
(Take a break and catch one of FOUR Ghibli films playing all day during the fest!)
