From Koko the Clown\, Betty Boop\, Popeye the Sailor\, to Superman\, Fabulous Fleischer Cartoons Restored has spent the last three years preserving and presenting these classics from the Golden Age of Animation for a whole new generation of fans. \nThis program is jam-packed with the best that Fleischer animation has to offer (including Ms. Boop’s screen debut)\, all lovingly restored to their original glory. There will be a Q&A after the show with part of the project team: Thad Komorowski (Restoration Lead) and Sam Davis (Restoration Artist and Coordinator)\, both of whom do this important work right here in Buffalo. \nStarted in 2021 by Max Reid\, Jane Fleischer Reid (Max Fleischer’s granddaughter) and Mauricio Alvarado\, this project has seen over 90 films restored thus far.
