Previously adapted as “Danger: Diabolik” by Mario Bava in 1968, this new adaptation returns to the comic’s noirish roots, while delivering all of the danger, sex appeal, and eye-popping production design that’s demanded of a Diabolik tale.

Set in the fictional state of Clerville in the late 1960s, the forthcoming visit of heiress Eva Kant, who possesses a famous pink diamond, catches the attention of Diabolik, the infallible and elusive thief whose real identity is unknown.

He finds himself bewitched by Eva’s charm while trying to steal the jewel. However the police, led by relentless Inspector Ginko, are on the hunt for the criminal and will try to stop his evil plans.
